Seems a little weird that samplings don't respawn since they are a plant as well as cat tails mushroms and berries. You can go a loooooong way in this game on supplies, even in interloper.
I haven't used a match in months, I still have 89 of em. After that, maybe birch sapplings, but there are many more of those to harvest on other maps as well. I think the first thing I might need more of is cloth, but I know where to get plenty more of it. I'm on day 172 on interloper and I don't see any end yet. There's enough stuff on all the maps to survive about as long as you can stand to play the game, or eventually get pwnt by RNGesus. Most stuff doesn't respawn, like cat-tails, berries, mushrooms, birch and maple saplings, all man made things like food, weapons and matches.
